Module 3: Schedule and Cost-planning skills using excel

  • Understanding the skills of projects and programme estimation based on scope

  • Understanding how to use Excel for deriving Time-limited Schedules and Cost-limited plans

  • Using Excel to measure project Schedule and the cost performance in various models

  • Using Excel to analyse schedules, the cost variances and their impacts

  • Understand how to come up with reactive methods to manage schedules and cost impacts

  • Learn how to track, analyze and report issues in a project using Excel

Module 4: Risk Management using Excel

  • How to identify and manage risks

  • Qualitative Assessment and analysis of project risks using probability and impact scales, Assumption testing and cognitive bias

  • Quantitative assessment and analysis of project risks using Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees, PERT Analysis and EMV

Module 5: Creation of Dashboards and reports in Advanced Excel

  • Understanding how to write SMART objectives, Business care and knowing the best practices to apply in both project and programme management.

  • Learn how to create Gnatt charts, milestones and events.

  • Understand how to create various durations based on given timelines

  • Understand how to create the dynamic excel Gnatt charts Dashboard for reports.

  • Learn how to Baseline bars, Actual progress bar and know how to track project progress

  • Learn how to use KPI’s, Issue and Risks for communication.

These instructor-led training sessions are delivered using a blended learning approach and include presentations, guided practical exercises, web-based tutorials, and group work.
