Course Objectives

At the end of this IRES training course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the importance of program governance: Participants will gain a clear understanding of why program governance is crucial for the successful delivery of programs. They will learn about the benefits of effective program governance in terms of stakeholder satisfaction, risk management, and overall program success.
• Identify key program governance roles and responsibilities: Participants will learn about the different roles and responsibilities within a program governance structure. They will understand the specific duties of program governance committees and the individuals involved in program governance.
• Learn about program governance frameworks and models: Participants will explore various program governance frameworks and models. They will gain knowledge of different approaches to program governance and understand how to adapt and apply them to different program contexts.
