Introduction

The goal of this course is to offer knowledge that will allow participants not only to understand, but also to adapt and create work processes that will make your newsroom more modern, and to learn how to manage it to make your more competitive in a digital environment.

There are many challenges ahead of the media in this digital world we live and work in. This course is designed to introduce you to the processes and ways of structuring and running small or big newsrooms. The processes of work are changing, and so are the requirements of the audience. New technologies impose a different way and dynamics of production and your work needs to adapt to it. In this course you will get to know about ideas and trends in the media industry, and you will learn and assess whether you can apply some of it in your newsrooms.

Course Administration Details:

METHODOLOGY

The instructor-led training is delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.

All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.

ACCREDITATION

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with an Indepth Research Institute (IRES) certificate certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).

TRAINING VENUE

The training will be held at IRES Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments and lunch.

All participants will additionally cater for their, travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses.
