INTRODUCTION
Project financial management is a critical prerequisite for successful project execution. Through sound financial management, project management is provided with timely and precise financial information which is essential for effective decision-making as well as corrective action in order to enhance the prospects of timely completion within the planned project budget and scope of deliverables. Furthermore, it provides the comfort needed by the recipient country, lenders and donor community that funds have been used efficiently and for the purposes intended. Participants will be able to competently design and operate project financial management systems in accordance with sound professional standards and the harmonized requirements of donors and their respective governments.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Accountants and Officers in the public and private sector who are directly or otherwise concerned with how externally acquired financial and other resources are utilized to optimize intended development objectives. Other organizations such as NGOs that are major recipients of donor funds will also benefit from attending this programme. Participants are expected to have basic knowledge of accounting in the public or private sector.

- · Conflict, time and stress management in project
METHODOLOGY
The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprise of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.
All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
ACCREDITATION
Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with an Indepth Research Services (IRES) certificate certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).
TRAINING VENUE
The training will be held at IRES Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments and lunch.
All participants will additionally cater for their, travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses.
