Module 1: Introduction to advanced Excel

  • Understand the shortcuts in excel
  • Work with various advanced Excel data functions
  • Learn how to work with arrays and lists
  • Work with advanced logical formulas in excel
  • Work with advanced text formulas in excel
  • Understanding the basics of VBAs and Macros

Module 2: Data Analysis in Excel

  • Introduction to the Excel insert tab
  • Creating and designing tables
  • Working with pivot charts and tables
  • Working with charts for data presentation
  • Work with slicers
  • Sorting and filtering data and understanding references in Advanced excel

Module 3: The HR dashboard and Analytics for presentation and reports

  • Introduction to data index and page layouts
  • Work with predictive attrition and animated macro charts
  • Understand the Vlookup and Hlookup analysis
  • Learn BVG and leave analysis, FNF and Exit Analysis
  • Learn how to group data and understand the Bradford Factor
  • Learn the HR update and HR Update calendar
  • Develop operational dashboards including business KPI’s
  • Use pivot tables and pivot charts to efficiently perform automated report writing and analysis

 Module 4: Human Capital Risk Management

  • Establishing the risk context and risk criteria

Module 5: Payroll management

  • Understand the billing calculator and how to activate your currency, text box and checkbox
  • Introduction to the essential contents of the Excel Payroll
  • Understand how to import data
  • Use payroll formulas in Excel
  • Use of the payroll analysis and the goal seek component
  • Learn how to customize and save templates
  • Learn how to creates macros and VBA to manage the payroll system
  • Tracking changes and securing worksheets

METHODOLOGY

This instructor-led training is delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professionals and trainers in these fields. All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.

ACCREDITATION

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with an Indepth Research Institute (IRES) certificate certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).

TRAINING VENUE

The training will be held at IRES Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments, and lunch.
